Privacy information

Know the data.
Control delivery.

This page distinguishes the public website from the UCM Windows product and explains the responsibilities around recording, optional processing, diagnostics, and destination services.

Core principleThe institution remains responsible for approved use

Authorization, notice, consent, access, retention, sharing, and deletion must follow applicable law and institutional policy.

Public website

Product site.
No recordings.

Website scopeNo classroom recording in the browser

This website presents product information and links to external contact channels. It does not operate the UCM Windows recorder or provide access to institution-held recordings.

External servicesLINE, phone, and request form

When you use an external contact channel, that provider’s terms and privacy practices also apply. Share only the information needed for assessment.

Technical operationStandard hosting records

Website hosting and security services may process standard technical logs such as time, requested path, browser, network address, and error information for operation and protection.

Product environment

Recordings stay
under your control.

01

Classroom recordings

Video, audio, course information, filenames, and operational records are handled in the deployed UCM Windows environment and configured destinations. The institution defines authorized users, notice, retention, access, and deletion.

02

Optional ASR, OCR, and AI

Optional processing must be enabled within the agreed scope and used with appropriate notice or consent. ASR and OCR outputs require human review. AI-assisted drafts use reviewed text and course information, not the course video itself, and remain drafts for authorized review.

03

NAS and YouTube destinations

The institution provides authorized credentials and controls access, retention, and visibility. YouTube and other external services apply their own terms and privacy practices. A failed transfer does not delete the local source.

04

Support diagnostics

Authorized staff may export device, environment, settings, and error information for support. Camera passwords should be excluded. Inspect the export and remove unnecessary or sensitive content before sharing.
